Question 1: What is the difference between Syrian and Dwarf hamsters?
Answer 1 best answer: Dwarf hamsters - Mainly are more hyper than syrians and more prone to bitting but if you are looking for a hamster you can watch not hold than the dwarf hamster is the right one for you. There are four types of Dwarf hamsters Campbell's Russian, Winter White, Roboski, or Chinese. I would recommend dwarf hamsters for kids ages 14+
Syrian - Mainly are very friendly love to be held and rarely bite. I would recommend Syrian hamsters for kids ages 8+. There are many colour and patterns of Syrian hamsters, Teddy bear, Panda bear, Black bear ect. Syrian hamsters are more for people who want a hamsters you can hold.
In all every hamster is different and may not have the same traits as there breeds but in all both have advantages and disadvantages and in all depends on you.

Answer 1 Best answer: Female - Females have a musky oder every 4 days due to going into heat. Females tend to be a bit more hyper and tend to bite more, but besides this female hamsters are great. They are smaller and can have puppies (Babies). If you are looking for a hamster that you can't hold as much and it dose not matter if they smell than female hamsters are right for you.
Male - Males don't have a musky oder and they seem to be calmer than females. If you are looking for a pet you can cuddle with than I would recommend males. Males tend to be a bit bigger than females. If you are looking for a hamster you can cuddle with and watch t.v. with than I would recommend a male.
In all every hamster is different but in general males tend to smell better and are more clam and cuddly. Hope I helped!

Question 5: My hamster is pregnant what do I do?
Answer 1 Best answer: There is nothing we can really do, just give her some more bedding NOTE: Never give her hamster wool she can get her paws stuck in it and get injured! Just keep an eye out for puppies (Babies) and don't touch the puppies until there two weeks. After one month of age then you can decide what you do with them (Keep them, Sell them, Give them away ect) Hope this helped!
